In September we lost a very important lady in our lives, our beautiful Grandma and Mother - Joan. After receiving a devastating diagnosis in June 2018, she received love and care from St Elizabeth’s hospice that made the last few months of her life less painful. We are walking a 6 mile midnight walk in her memory, to raise money for the charity that ‘don’t let death kill life’ as a way of thanking the incredible staff that go above and beyond to ensure that those in need are comfortable and happy, and supporting their family through some of their darkest days. We will be eternally grateful.
